Soo good! My entire family loved them, even the picky ones!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup butter, softened (for frosting)
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
2-3 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup butter, softened (for frosting)
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
2-3 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing until just blended. Fold in the mashed bananas.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
To make the frosting, beat the 1/2 cup softened butter until fluffy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth. Beat in the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches spreading consistency.
Once the bars are completely cool, spread the frosting evenly over the top. Cut into bars and serve.
