    1.Make the pastry: In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add the cold water, mixing until the dough comes together.
    2.Roll out the dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
    3.Assemble the sausage rolls: Cut the sausage meat into 1-inch pieces. Place a piece of sausage meat on one end of the dough rectangle. Top with a sprinkle of cheese.
