How to clean the soleplate of your iron?

There are household chores that are more or less pleasant to do, and ironing is one of those that we hate, or love. There are those who find it relaxing, while those who hate doing it and would prefer to avoid it.

In any case, the iron is very important to have clothes that are always impeccable. However, it can happen that the plate is completely burnt and this can happen for a number of different reasons.

The most common is the accumulation of synthetic material on the iron plate, on which excess detergent or due to normal wear and tear can also accumulate. Below we list the most effective tips for cleaning a burnt iron soleplate.

Salt. Take a dry cloth and sprinkle a few tablespoons of table salt on it. Heat the iron, then rub the cloth sprinkled with salt over it until the burn stains disappear. Finally, let it cool and wipe with a damp cloth.
