    There are many products on the market dedicated to cleaning the surfaces of sofas and armchairs . However, if you do not want to try to understand which is the most suitable for the fabric of your sofa, you can try with completely natural, effective and harmless methods.

    For example, a mild laundry detergent can be a great help. Mix it with water until it forms a lather and use a small amount to rub the stain well with a towel.

    White vinegar is another powerful natural ingredient, widely used in household cleaning. Although it is effective against stains, after using it it is always good to pass a little water and detergent to ensure a deep cleaning of the sofa .

    1. Vacuum the floor
    Before using stain removers, vacuum the entire surface of the sofa or armchair to remove as much dust as possible. Use the appropriate accessories to avoid damaging the fabric: a delicate brush is ideal.

    2. Clean only the dirty part
    Dampen a towel with white vinegar and gently rub the visible stains. Remember not to apply too much pressure and ensure proper ventilation of the room.

    3. Clean with water and laundry detergent
    Do another pass with water and a mild laundry detergent. This will help remove deeper dirt and the strong vinegar smell. Use only a small amount of detergent and water to avoid damaging the fabric.

    4. Let it dry well
    Many people use a hair dryer to speed things up, but letting it dry naturally is the best option. Open the windows and make sure the couch is getting the right amount of airflow.
