Decadent Chocolate Cake 

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup milk
200g dark chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
Prepare the Cake Batter:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together. You can do this in the microwave in 20-second bursts or use a double boiler.

Let the chocolate-butter mixture cool slightly, then stir in the milk until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until the batter is smooth and fully combined.
Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve and Enjoy:
Once the cake has cooled, slice it and serve. Optionally, top with powdered sugar or a drizzle of extra melted chocolate for a little extra indulgence!
