Ingredients:
1 head of cabbage
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup cooked rice
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped green onions for garnish

Prepare the Cabbage:
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Core the cabbage and carefully peel the leaves, blanching them in hot water for about 2 minutes or until they soften. Set aside to cool.
Make the Filling:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion
. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the cooked rice , tomato paste
, garlic powder
, soy sauce
, and season with salt & pepper
. Mix well and remove from heat.
Assemble the Rolls:
Lay out a cabbage leaf, spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of the leaf. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
Place each stuffed cabbage roll seam side down in a baking dish. Repeat for all the leaves.
Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce and beef broth
. Pour the sauce over the stuffed cabbage rolls, covering them completely.
Cook the Cabbage Rolls:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 1 hour.
Serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped green onions and enjoy the tender, flavorful cabbage rolls!
