It just takes three ingredients? I had no clue!
– 1 pound of ground chicken – 1 big egg – 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (such as cheddar)
Optional: season with salt and pepper.
What to do:
1. Spray or grease your skillet well with nonstick cooking spray and set it over medium heat to preheating.
Second, while the pan is getting hot, mix the ground chicken, egg, and cheese in a basin. To add a touch of class, you can also add salt and pepper at this point.
3. After everything is thoroughly combined, shape the mixture into patties. There should be around four good-sized patties, but that’s really up to you.
4. Carefully add the patties to the hot pan and cook for approximately 5 to 6 minutes on each side. Prioritize safety by aiming for a golden-brown crust and an interior temperature of 165°F.
Step 5: When patties are done cooking, take them out of the pan and set them on a paper towel to absorb any excess grease.
6. Enjoy being a responsible adult and a kitchen rockstar while serving them hot.
Tips and Variations:
Get wild and crazy! For an additional kick, you may add minced garlic or onion powder to the patty mix. How about some heat? If you want to spice things up a bit, try adding some red pepper flakes or cayenne. To add a zesty and fresh touch, cut some fresh parsley or basil if you’re crazy about that herb life.
Do yourself a double-duty and put half of it in the freezer, my meal-prep warriors. Quick and easy homemade fast food is at your fingertips; all you have to do is flatten the cooked patties in a freezer bag. Reheat and voila!
