Ingredients
- Eggs: 2 large
- Powdered sugar: 100 g (½ cup)
- Vanilla sugar: 10 g (1 tablespoon)
- Vegetable oil: 100 g (½ cup)
- Baking powder: 7 g (1½ teaspoons)
- Cornstarch: 50 g (⅓ cup)
- Flour: 300 g (2½ cups)
- Salt: A pinch
Directions
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vegetable oil and mix until well combined.
- Sift in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork or your palm.
- Bake the Cookies:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
