There are many techniques that allow you to recycle this piece of cardboard, giving life to some truly brilliant ideas . The first thing you can do is, for example, make a nice pen holder !
Well yes, all you need to do is get 5 or 6 rolls of toilet paper, attach them to each other , and place them on a base of your choice – it can even simply be a cardboard box – then decorate your rolls and finally insert your favorite pens or pencils inside the empty rolls .
Did you know that, among other things, rolls can also become an excellent home organizer system ? For example, you can put socks or even underwear inside the empty toilet paper rolls . Then place them inside a box in your drawer. Brilliant idea, right?
However, there are many tricks that reusing rolls can allow you to put into practice. For example, they can also be used to make a frame for a mirror.
At first reading it may seem like a complicated thing to do, but if you follow the steps carefully, you’ll see that it turns out to be child’s play ! What will you need?
Just a mirror – the classic ones that you can surely find in your desk drawers or in your wardrobe – some toilet paper rolls – 5 to be precise – some spray paint and finally a hot glue gun .
The first thing you need to do is spray the paint on the outside and inside of the toilet paper rolls and let it dry. Once this step has been done, when the paint is dry, you must press on the rollers and using scissors, you will have to cut small cardboard curls .
At this point, take 5 of the two cut rolls and equip yourself with hot glue. Glue the ends of your four rolls together to form “caps”. Take the fifth roll and put a little glue on the bottom side , then place it in the center of the other four rolls that you have previously glued.
Finally, place them all around the mirror making sure they have a linear shape. Repeat this until all of your cardboard structures go around your mirror. Et voilà, in five minutes you will have created a truly extraordinary work of art !
One last idea we propose is truly delicious. Did you know that you can use toilet paper rolls to grow a splendid plant ? All you have to do is place the seeds of your flower plants inside the cardboard reel which will be closed by an additional paper bottom or rather solid wadding.
Once the first shoots have appeared, you can then repot them into the ground . Have you seen how many cute and original ideas there can be simply by reusing waste materials? Toilet paper rolls will become , as you can read, a very precious resource for your home and beyond.
