The place was once a 19th century English monastery, renovated and divided into 30 apartments. The one this man bought seemed relatively cheap for the price, and he got a place to boot.

This is what the small studio looks like.

Built a long time ago, the place has a very high ceiling, like the ones they had centuries ago.

The high ceiling also makes it possible to position the bed in an unusual location.

The first floor includes a small bathroom.

In front of the bathroom door, there is a handle on the floor that leads to the secret place.

At first glance, it looks like extra storage space.

Or maybe like a stairway to heaven…or hell?

Upon further exploration, it was revealed that the space is quite large and its rooms are beneath those of other owners and tenants.

Inscriptions on one of the walls reveal that someone has visited the place in recent years.

The last room, among many others, has a high ceiling.

A hole in the middle of the ground makes us believe that something was dug up recently.

We sincerely hope this man can keep both apartments for himself. If so, it’s great that he gets two spaces for the price of one.
