★Ingredients
For the Crust:
1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
For the Filling:
3 large eggs
1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
1 cup (240ml) light corn syrup
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups (240g) chopped pecans

★Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together butter, flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan to form the crust.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and let cool slightly.
Step 2: Make the Filling
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
Step 3: Assemble and Bake
- Pour the filling over the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan.
Step 4: Slice and Serve
- Once cooled, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut them into squares.
- Serve and enjoy!
