The fam couldn’t get enough! Next batch, I’m making a double recipe
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Unroll the pizza dough onto a floured surface and stretch it into a rectangle, approximately 15×10 inches.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the marinara sauce.
Distribute the sliced pepperoni evenly over the cheese layer.
Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal.
Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 12 equal slices. Arrange the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving warm with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
Variations & Tips
Feel free to experiment with different fillings to suit your taste. Try adding chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives for a veggie-packed version. For a spicier kick, use spicy pepperoni or add crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese layer. For a cheesy twist, substitute some of the mozzarella with gouda or provolone. To make these rolls even more indulgent, brush them with garlic butter right after they come out of the oven.
