Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk
1 package or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/3 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose four, plus more for the board
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, melted plus 1/4 cup butter, melted (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
Honey Cinnamon Butter
1/2 cup softened butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions:
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Combine the warm milk, honey and the yeast. Stir completely
SECOND STEP:
Set the milk to the side
Using a mixer with a bread hook, combine the flour, egg and the melted butter
THIRD STEP:
Add the yeast mixture and stir
Add salt and continue mixing
Knead for 4 minutes
FOURTH STEP:
Place into an oiled bowl
Cover the bowl and let rest for 1 hour
FIFTH STEP:
Punch the dough down and put onto a floured surface
Roll out to about 1 inch in height
SIXTH STEP:
Cut into squares and place onto a greased cookie sheet
Cover and let rise for 20 minutes in a warm place
SEVENTH STEP:
Bake for 14 to 16 minutes
In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the honey, cinnamon and the confectioner’s sugar
EIGHTH STEP:
Let cool briefly and brush with butter on tops
Serve with Cinnamon Honey Butter and enjoy!
