Variations & Tips
For those who enjoy a twist, try using mixed berry or apricot preserves in place of strawberry for a different flavor profile. Adding a layer of cream cheese beneath the fruit filling can also offer a decadent touch. For a festive look, use colored sugars or themed sprinkles on the icing depending on the occasion.
