1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice
1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, or green)
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas or green beans

Directions for Sesame Ginger Beef Rice Stack
Prepare the beef: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, sesame oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Allow it to marinate for about 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
Cook the rice: While the beef marinates, cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar, if using. Set aside.
Stir-fry the vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and snap peas or green beans. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the beef: In the same skillet, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked through and browned. Be careful not to overcrowd the skillet; you may need to do this in batches.
