Salmon with garlic and lemon butter

    Ingredients (4 people):
    – 4 salmon fillets (about 1 inch thick)
    – Salt and freshly ground pepper
    – 2 teaspoons olive oil
    – 2 garlic cloves, minced
    – 1/4 cup (65 ml) chicken broth
    – 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    – 3 tablespoons butter, divided + 1 teaspoon butter
    – 1/2 teaspoon honey
    – 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
    – Lemon wedges

    Preparation :
    Step: 1
    In a small saucepan, add a teaspoon of butter and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.

    Step: 2
    Add chicken broth and lemon juice. Allow sauce to reduce by about half (about 3 minutes).

    Step: 3
    Add butter and honey and blend until well combined. Set aside.

    Step: 4
    Season the salmon fillets well with salt and pepper.

    Step: 5
    Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.

    Add the salmon and cook for about 4 minutes on one side and 2-3 minutes on the other.

    Step: 7
    Serve with a generous drizzle of butter sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges
