Recipe: Southern Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
9 cups of thinly sliced peaches
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, mix peaches, 1 cup sugar, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp salt. Transfer to greased baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
3. While baking, in a separate bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add in boiling water. This will create a lumpy batter.
4. Remove dish from oven. Drop spoonfuls of batter over the peaches.
5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm on its own or with ice cream/whipped cream.
