Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

4 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced, with syrup if using canned)

1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Batter:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually stir in milk until the batter is smooth.

  1. Add Butter:

Pour the melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Pour the batter over the butter (do not mix).

  1. Add Peaches:

Spread the peaches evenly on top of the batter. Pour any peach syrup over for added sweetness.

  1. Bake:

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

  1. Cool and Serve:

Let it cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm, topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
