Orange and Yogurt Cake
Ingredients :
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
– 100 g of sugar (about 1/2 cup)
– A pinch of salt
– 120 ml of oil (about 1/2 cup)
– 110 g yoghurt to your desired taste (about 1/2 cup)
– 180 ml orange juice (about 3/4 cup)
– 1 tablespoon of baking powder (about 15 g)
– 250 g of flour (about 2 cups + 1/4 cup)

Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter and flour a 22-24 cm cake tray.
2. In a bowl, beat the egg with sugar and vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract) and a pinch of salt until you achieve a creamy, white compound.
3. Add the oil and yogurt, then mix well.
4. Incorporate the orange juice, blending until you obtain a homogeneous compound.
5. Add the baking powder and sifted flour, mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
6. Pour the dough into the prepared cake pan and level it with a spatula.
7. Bake in a preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and baked in the center.

8. Once baked, let the cake cool in the cake pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a grill to cool completely.
9. Sprinkle cake with icing sugar before serving.
