    Heat the oven before using.

    Turn on your oven to 180°C (360°F). Grease a square baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Make the liquid mixture:

    In a bowl, mix the grated apples, water, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Stir thoroughly to mix.

    Combine the powdered ingredients.

    In a big bowl, mix together the oats, chopped walnuts, and cocoa powder (if you are using it). Mix well by stirring.

    Mix the wet and dry ingredients together.

    Pour the apple mixture into the dry ingredients, then add the melted coconut oil or butter. Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
