2. Mint

You can apply a few drops of essential oil  to a cotton swab  that you place in places like your terrace, balcony or garden to repel all kinds of rodents.

It can also be used in a flower pot and  placed in the same places.

Using mint as a natural mouse repellent  also works against spiders.
