Scented towels like this: keep bad smells away
As we have said, you can understand that towels continue to smell bad after washing. However, let’s start by saying that to avoid this it is very important to change towels frequently. In fact, these should be changed about twice a week for optimal hygiene.
Towels are subject to water and therefore also to the possible growth of germs and bacteria. Precisely for this reason, when they are placed in the laundry basket, they must first be air-dried. They should never be placed wet in the basket as this can be one of the causes of the towels smelling bad after washing
Another cause of bad odors is not opening the door of the washing machine as soon as it is finished. This practice is usually taken lightly but it is actually essential because inside the drum of the washing machine a humid environment is created that also in this case favors the proliferation of bacteria………..
Drying towels can also be a cause of bad odors. In fact, you shouldn’t leave them outdoors for too long because they could absorb moisture after drying, or indoors when it’s completely closed. So you have to find the right temperature.
Then, the amount of detergent used also affects bad odors. It is often used too much without knowing that it is not good at all. In fact, both the detergent and the softener should be used as suggested on the package and should not be exceeded because this will only cause the opposite effect, i.e. bad odors.
To perfume them even more you can also use Marseille soap. It is present in almost every home and you can use it as a fabric softener. It will leave an intense aroma to your laundry as well as not contaminating. Follow all the tips and you will have very scented towels.
