If you have plants at home, you know how difficult it is to make them grow healthy and bloom. Using fertilizers is sometimes necessary to give the plant the right nutrients and achieve these goals.
The good news is that you don’t have to spend money on fertilizers, but you can make them at home using food waste and other materials – below, we explain how.
Egg shells
Don’t throw them away: they are an excellent fertilizer for plants. When placed in potting soil, cooked eggshells are excellent for plant growth. You can also use the water from cooking the eggs.

It is an excellent natural fertilizer for plants. Dilute the coffee grounds in a liter of water and let it sit for a day before using it to water your plants.
orange juice
Rich in vitamin C, orange is also good for plants. Pour a little orange juice into the soil to fertilize it.
Banana peels
They are the natural fertilizer par excellence. Their nutritional power is so strong that they can eliminate most of the damage that usually affects indoor plants.
