Shape the mini meatloaf patties:
Take a small handful of the meat mixture and form it into small patties, about the size of an apricot. For easier handling, wet your hands slightly to prevent the mixture from sticking.
Pan-fry the patties:
Warm a little olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium to high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully arrange the mini meatloaf patties in the skillet in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap. Cook each side for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through. Use a spatula to gently flip the patties, making sure they are evenly browned on all sides.
Serve the patties:
Once the patties are cooked through and golden, remove them from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate. Serve hot and garnish as desired. These mini meatloaf patties pair wonderfully with homemade tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, or any other dipping sauce of your choice. They are versatile and can be served as an appetizer, a main course, or even as a quick snack for the family.
