Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch Salad Dressing

    This popular dip/dressing can be a great dip for chips or a flavorful dressing on a salad or burrito bowl.

    Ingredients:

    1/4 cup low-fat buttermilk

    1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise

    1 jalapeño, stemmed and seeded

    1 clove garlic

    1 green onion

    1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1/2 lime)

    1 handful cilantro

    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Combine Ingredients: In a food processor, add buttermilk, mayonnaise, jalapeño, garlic, green onion, lime juice, and cilantro.

    Puree: Blend until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.

    Season: Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired. Blend again briefly to mix in the seasonings.

    Notes:

    Storage: Keep the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It remains fresh and flavorful for 5-7 days.
