Many housewives are faced with the problem of an unpleasant odor in the refrigerator. They try to solve the problem by frequently cleaning the refrigerator and purchasing special odor absorbers. In fact, the problem can be solved much more simply and without expensive investments.

It is enough to follow three simple rules, and you will be able to wash your refrigerator much less often, it will always be clean and an unpleasant aroma will definitely not settle in it.

I’m sharing a trick on how to keep your refrigerator clean and free of unnecessary odors:
    First trick
If you spill or spill something, wipe the shelves immediately. If you let this dry, rest assured that in a week at most you will be cleaning the entire refrigerator.

Before placing pots or jars in the refrigerator, wipe the bottom with a clean cloth. Then the shelves of your refrigerator will remain clean longer and will not require washing.

    Second trick
Make it a rule to wipe down all the shelves of your refrigerator once a week. But don’t do it with dishwashing detergent. Dissolve a spoonful of baking soda in a liter of warm water. Soak a rag in this solution and wipe the shelves with it.

Use the same cloth to wipe all plastic surfaces. Don’t forget about the seal, door and handle. Pay special attention to those places where bacteria and germs most often accumulate.

I warn you: under no circumstances use chemical compounds to clean or wipe the refrigerator. They often have strong odors, which, in the confined space of the refrigerator, will be absorbed into the food stored in it. Butter will be absorbed especially quickly by this atmosphere. It’s not worth taking that risk.

    Third trick

Do not place open containers with leftover food in the refrigerator: salads, plates with leftover food, pots that are not tightly closed. Put it all in food storage containers. Tight lids will prevent odors from “clogging” the confined space of the refrigerator.

Otherwise, different smells will mix and create a mix of unpleasant aroma. It will quickly absorb into all plastic surfaces. The only way to get rid of them is to thoroughly clean the entire refrigerator.

I am sure these simple rules will help you avoid many problems with your refrigerator
