How To Preserve Fresh Tomato Paste For A Year (no Refrigeration)

    You may keep tomatoes for around a year by preserving them in tomato paste.

    * Newly Picked Tomatoes

    * Lidded glass bottles

    To prevent oxygenation of the tomatoes, it is best to store them in bottles with a tight-fitting lid.

    1. Mince the tomatoes that are fresh.

    2. Boil the chopped tomatoes until the water evaporates and a paste forms.

    3. Set aside to cool the paste.

    4. Fill the bottle with the paste and secure the top.
