This article explains how to deter these rats using a method that Vick Vaporub, an ointment that most people have lying about the house, employs.
Components
Three delicious cookies of any kind
1 tablespoon of baking soda
Recipe: 1 tsp Vick Vaporub
Pulverize the cookies into a fine powder.
Mix well after adding the baking soda to the ground cookies.
Mix in the teaspoon of Vick Vaporub and use your fingers to knead the ingredients into a uniform dough.
Form the dough into little balls or heaps by dividing it into different sections.
Put two or three of these parts in a container and set it outside anywhere you think rats could congregate or roam.
The delicious smell of the cookies will draw rats to you when using this strategy, but the baking soda and Vick Vaporub will work to drive them away or repel them.
