The washing machine is one of the most useful appliances and capable of making household chores easier, especially when it comes to washing quilts and duvets that become heavier when wet. However, with each wash cycle, dirt residues accumulate that can damage the garments and compromise the functioning of the washing machine.
Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential to prolong the life of your washing machine. Cleaning removes dirt and detergent residues that create a thin film that traps bacteria, creating a perfect environment for bad odors.
Bacteria and mold that form on the filter and gasket of your washing machine are resistant to heat and aggressive detergents, and end up clogging the internal mechanisms of the washing machine or sticking to your clothes, damaging them.
