How to Clean Your Toilet Cistern and Make It Look Like New

    Cleaning the toilet is one of the most important things in the bathroom, but often we limit ourselves to just cleaning and disinfecting the external surfaces. However, we forget about an area that is also prone to the accumulation of dirt, mold and limescale: the toilet tank.

    Since it is not easily visible, we tend to forget about this important part of the toilet. However, a clean and disinfected toilet tank not only allows us to prevent and avoid bad odors, but it will also work better and save us water.

    In this article we suggest you a wonderful trick to clean the toilet tank quickly and without using chemicals. You need:

    gloves
    new toilet brush
    sponge
    white vinegar
    Empty the toilet tank completely and close the water valve to prevent it from filling up again.

    Pour half a bottle of vinegar into a spray bottle and spray it over the entire inside surface of the tank. Let it sit for a couple of hours to optimize its cleaning effect.

    Then use the sponge to remove all the dirt, then use the toilet brush to make sure you remove all the limescale and mould.

    Once all the dirt has been removed, rinse and open the water valve to refill the tank.
