Ice maker cleaning solution and no wash cycle
No cleaning cycle? No problem:
1. Turn off the ice maker, remove any remaining ice and water, and spray with a cleaning solution.
2. Allow the cleaning solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
3. Turn on your machine and prepare two batches of ice that you will discard to remove any leftover chemicals. Then your next batch will be sparkling clean!
Vinegar
You can replace the cleaning solution with vinegar by following the same steps:
1. Use a 10:1 ratio of water to white vinegar in place of an ice machine cleaner.
2. Follow the same steps above for ice machines with or without a wash cycle.
