Goat Cheese Croquettes with Caramelized Onion and Walnuts Recipe

    Ingredients:
    200gm goat cheese
    1 large onion
    50g chopped walnuts
    50g butter
    50g flour
    500ml milk
    Bread pieces
    Olive oil
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    – In a pan, caramelize the julienned onion with a little olive oil.
    – Tear the goat cheese and mix with the chopped walnuts.
    – In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour, stirring constantly to form a yolk.

    – Add the hot milk little by little, stirring until you get a thick béchamel.
    – Add caramelized onion, goat cheese and béchamel walnuts. Mix well and sauté with salt and pepper to taste.
    – Leave the mixture to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
    -Form the croquettes with the cooled dough and pass them in the breadcrumbs.
    -Fry the croquettes in hot oil until golden and crispy in the oven
    – Remove the nuggets from the oil and slide them onto absorbent paper.
    Preparation time: 30 minutes (not colder)
    Kcal: 200 kcal per croquette
