Detergent and garlic clove, what happens if you combine them: the Japanese method

Today we are going to tell you how to prepare a natural garlic insecticide, which also contains dishwashing detergent as an ingredient. This insecticide is particularly effective against insects such as ants.
Especially in summer, ants proliferate and seriously invade our homes, attacking pantries and other corners of the house. We often resort to drastic methods, such as contacting a pest control company or purchasing chemicals, which are often very expensive.
In reality, there are solutions that are just as effective and more natural, such as preparing an insecticide with ingredients you already have at home. Simply dip a few cloves of garlic into a pot of water and bring to a boil.
Then add vinegar, if desired, and detergent. When the mixture has finally cooled, fill a spray bottle and start spraying the liquid in every corner where you deem it necessary.
This will eliminate all traces of the ants that have invaded the house. The reason is that these insects cannot tolerate the smell of these ingredients and move away from the area of the house where we spray them.
If the smell of this natural insecticide is unbearable even for our nostrils and those of our children, we can still decide to add a few drops of our favorite essential oil. In this way, our sense of smell will no longer perceive the smell of the vinegar and garlic that we included in the recipe, but it will smell much more like that of our essential oil.
On the other hand, ants will continue to be repelled by garlic and vinegar, whose powers were amplified by the dish detergent we decided to use.
