Delicious Smashed Avocado Bruschetta

    The recipe calls for one big, ripe avocado.

    Turn the oven on high heat (400°F, 200°C).
    Mash the avocado until it’s smooth in a medium bowl. Combine with the freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
    Dice the cherry tomatoes and mix them with the red onion and fresh basil in a separate small dish.
    Place the sliced baguette on a baking pan. Olive oil should be brushed across each slice.
    To get a golden and crispy crust, toast the bread in a preheated oven for around seven to eight minutes.
    After taking the baguette slices out of the oven, add some additional flavor by rubbing each one with a half bulb of garlic.
    On top of each toasted baguette slice, generously spread the avocado mixture that has been mashed.
    Before serving, top with the tomato mixture and, if wanted, sprinkle with balsamic glaze.
