Ingredients
For the Cream Layer:
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
For the Layers:
1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
3 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
18-20 ladyfinger cookies
2 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting

Prepare the cream layer: In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Gently fold in whipped cream until well combined.
Mix espresso and liqueur (if using) in a shallow dish. Dip ladyfinger cookies quickly into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy.
Assemble the tiramisu: In a 9×9-inch dish or individual serving glasses, layer the dipped ladyfingers on the bottom. Spread a layer of ricotta cream over the cookies. Repeat the layers, ending with the cream on top.
Dust with cocoa powder evenly over the top layer of cream.
Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture and flavor.
