Creamed Chicken and Biscuits Casserole

    One and a half teaspoons of butter
    Two pounds of cooked chicken, either sliced or shredded; one tiny chopped onion
    One can of chicken soup sauce
    half a cup of mayo
    1.5 ounces of milk
    chopped half a cup of roasted red pepper
    1 and 1/4 cups of mild cheddar cheese
    1 can biscuit mix that has been chilled

    Get the oven to 350 degrees.

    Prepare a baking dish by greasing its base and edges.

    Step 2: In a pan, heat the butter and toss in the onion.

    Add the onion and sauté until it starts to soften.

    Step 3: After that, combine the chicken, milk, red peppers, and mayonnaise with the onion.

    Transfer to the oven-safe baking dish.

    Step four: Take it out of the oven and let it bake for fifteen minutes.

    After that, top with a quarter cup of cheese, and then stack the biscuits on top of that.

    Scatter the remaining cheese over top.

    After 20 minutes, remove from oven and continue baking until top is golden.

    TIP #6: Wait a few minutes before cutting and serving.

    This may stand on its own as a supper or as a side dish to a salad.
