Cooker Kalua Pig
Rinse the pork butt or shoulder under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
Using a sharp knife, make small, deep cuts all over the surface of the meat.
Rub the liquid smoke all over the pork, making sure to coat it evenly.
Sprinkle the coarse sea salt all over the pork, again ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Place the seasoned pork in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 6-8 hours, until the meat is tender and falls apart easily.
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
