Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Warm meats: Slice the hoagie bun horizontally. Lay out the ham, pepperoni, and salami evenly on a baking sheet. Place in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the meats are warmed through and slightly crispy.
Prepare bun: While the meats are warming, spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the hoagie bun and Italian dressing on the top half.
Assemble sandwich:
Remove the meats from the oven.
Layer the warm ham, pepperoni, and salami on the bottom half of the bun.
Top with banana peppers, lettuce, tomato slices, provolone cheese, and red onion.
Place the top half of the hoagie bun over the layered ingredients.
Optional: Heat further: For a hot sandwich, place the assembled hoagie back in the oven for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is warmed through.
Serve: Gently press the sandwich together and slice in half diagonally. Serve immediately.
