And it’s simple to make but probably even easier to enjoy… because it’s stuffed with chocolate chips! As easy as a loaf of banana bread, but you don’t need to wait for any bananas to get spotty, and it fits the same bill — a delicious bread that works for breakfast, afternoon snack, or after dinner treat.

    INGREDIENTS
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
    • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
    PREPARATION
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Set aside.
    2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
    3. In a separate bowl, whisk the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
    4. Mix in one third of the flour mixture, stirring just until smooth, followed by half of the milk. Repeat with remaining ingredients, alternating dry and wet.
    5. Stir in chocolate chips.
    6. Transfer batter to prepared loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 45-50 minutes.
    7. Set pan on a wire rack to cool, then remove from pan, slice, serve, and enjoy!
