- Cook the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef to the pan, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Season the Beef: Add paprika, onion powder, mustard powder (if using), salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir to combine. Cook for another minute to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas by heating them in a dry skillet for 20-30 seconds on each side, or microwave them for about 20 seconds until soft.
- Assemble the Burrito: Lay each tortilla flat and start layering in the center:
- Spoon a generous amount of the seasoned beef mixture.
- Add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Drizzle some ketchup and mustard.
- Add a few pickle slices.
- If desired, top with shredded lettuce and tomato slices for extra flavor and crunch.
- Wrap the Burrito: Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom, tucking in the sides as you go, to form a secure wrap.
- Serve: Slice the burrito in half and serve immediately with extra ketchup, mustard, or even some fries on the side for a true “burger experience.”
