Baked Meat and Mushroom Terrine with Walnut Cream Cheese Topping

Ingredients

For the Meat Layer:

400g minced meat (beef, pork, or a blend)

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

200ml cream (20% fat)

30g parsley, chopped

For the Mushroom Layer:

300g mushrooms, finely chopped (reserve 2-3 whole mushrooms for decoration)

1 onion, finely chopped

1 tsp salt

Sunflower oil (for sautéing)

For the Walnut Cream Cheese Topping:

300g walnuts, shelled and finely chopped

250g quark soft cheese

150g quark soft cheese (additional)

100ml cream (33% fat)

Additional:

Baking paper
