Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can (12 ounces) refrigerated biscuits
1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
1 egg, beaten for egg wash
sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
3. Flatten each biscuit into a round circle using a rolling pin. Spoon a portion of the cooked beef, a sprinkle of bacon, a bit of onion (if using), and a generous amount of cheddar cheese into the center of each biscuit.
4. Gather the edges of the biscuit together and pinch to seal, enclosing the filling inside. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Brush each bomb with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Remove from oven and let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
Variations & Tips
For those picky eaters or dietary restrictions, you can easily swap out ingredients to suit your needs. Use turkey or plant-based ground meat as a beef alternative. For a cheese variety, try mozzarella or a dairy-free cheese to keep everyone happy. You can also add some diced pickles inside the bombs or serve with a little relish on the side to capture that authentic cheeseburger flavor.
