Some of you may already know how tasty these Apple Dumplings by the Pioneer Woman are. Some time ago, I found this recipe on the Pioneer Woman’s website. Since the first taste, I can’t stop eating it. If you haven’t tasted this meal yet, now is the perfect moment to give it a try! You won’t regret it… The recipe requires Mountain Dew. I tried it with Mountain Dew, and it tasted just like Sierra Mist, 7-UP, or Sprite. I use a different drink instead of coffee for my heart condition (SVT).
List of items needed:
1 big apple I used a Fuji apple, but any type of apple will work. It’s better if it’s a bit tart.
1 tube of Pillsbury Crescent dough
1/2 cup of butter
Two-thirds cup of sugar

Half a teaspoon of vanilla.
Three-fourths of a cup or six ounces. 7-Up or a similar drink {half of the can}
How to Prepare Apple Dumplings by Pioneer Woman:
Heat the oven to 350°F. Put oil or butter on a square baking pan.
Slice each apple into 8-10 pieces.
Cut the apple peel and put it aside.
Divide the crescent roll dough into triangle shapes.
Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll dough, starting from the wider side.
Squeeze the edges together to close the apple and place it in the baking dish. This is simpler if you dry the apple slice first and then wrap the dough around it.
Heat butter in a small pot and mix in the sugar and cinnamon. Mix while heating.
The blend will gradually mix and become thicker. Once it becomes thicker, take it off the heat and mix in some vanilla.
Pour the cinnamon mixture on top of the apple dumplings. Put soda on top of the dumplings. Cook in the oven that has been heated beforehand for 40 to 45 minutes, or until it turns golden brown!
