Tip: Boiling water with vinegar and using it directly works too!
Let it work its magic overnight. The next steps are for the next day:
Open your oven, letting the vinegar vapor dissipate. If it’s too strong, open a window.
Take out the saucepan and the bowl of vinegar. Mix a little dish soap with the vinegar. Use this mixture to scrub the inside of your oven. Rinse and wipe clean.
If you want a slightly bubblier experience, sprinkle some baking soda over the oven surfaces before scrubbing with the vinegar-soaked sponge. Remember, use them quickly together for the best scrubbing power.
Why Does This Work?
The cleaning power of vinegar combined with the heat of the oven results in a steam that can soften and dissolve the most stubborn oven grime.
Your oven does a lot for you, so give it some TLC with this gentle, eco-friendly cleaning method!
