Baking soda is also great for disinfecting toilets and bathroom tiles. Sprinkle baking soda on a damp sponge and scrub the surfaces before rinsing and drying.
Cleaning the dishwasher with baking soda
Sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface of the dishwasher, place a glass full of vinegar on top and start a normal cycle. If done once a month, this operation will allow us to have a well-cleaned and disinfected dishwasher.
How to clean the microwave with baking soda
It’s really easy to do. Sprinkle some baking soda on a damp sponge and rub it inside and outside the microwave. Then use a clean, damp cloth to remove dirt and baking soda residue.
Clean and remove grease from the stove
As for the glass ceramic hob, you have to be especially careful not to scratch it. Mix a couple of tablespoons of baking soda with half a glass of vinegar. Once the effervescent reaction is over, apply the solution to the entire surface of the hob.
After a couple of minutes, remove with paper towels until all the dirt is removed.
Removing food debris from pots and pans
Fill the pot with water, baking soda and a little dish soap. Then empty it and use a sponge and baking soda to remove any remaining dirt, before washing as normal.
Cleaning the floor with baking soda
Baking soda is excellent for removing dirt and disinfecting the floor. Pour 150 grams of baking soda into a bucket full of warm water and use to clean the floor as usual.
