    Homemade BBQ Sauce

    Ingredients:

    • • 1 1/2 cups tomato ketchup
    • • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
    • • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    • • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
    • • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
    • • 1 tablespoon paprika, or to taste
    • • 2 teaspoons onion powder
    • • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
    • • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • • 1/2 cup water

    Instructions:

    1. In a saucepan, I’ll combine all the ingredients. I’ll bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

    2. I’ll adjust the taste by adding more sugar or seasonings if desired, then I’ll remove it from heat.

    3. Allowing the sauce to cool completely to room temperature, I’ll cover and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
