White clothes are always a must-have in our closet. Whether they are shirts or underwear, one thing they all have in common: they get dirty more easily and tend to appear with yellowish stains that are difficult to remove.

Sweat or rubbing of the skin against the garment can cause the appearance of unsightly yellowish stains , which are difficult to remove and give the garment an unkempt appearance.

If this has happened to you on one of your clothes, don’t worry and try applying one of the following methods to whiten white clothes and remove yellowish stains , to obtain a perfect white.

Lemon and baking soda
The combination of these two natural ingredients is very effective against yellowish stains on white clothes. Both products help to whiten and disinfect the laundry, making it look like new again.

Cut a lemon in half and rub it directly on the stain. Then sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and leave it in the sun for about an hour, until it dries completely.

Finally, wash the garment normally and enjoy the results: it will be very white and without any yellowish stains.

Apply heat
A trick as simple in its application as it is little known, for which you will only need an iron and talcum powder.

Sprinkle talcum powder on the yellowish areas of the garment, then hold the hot iron close to the garment for a few seconds, without resting it. The idea is to get the heat of the iron, but without letting it come into contact with the garment.

After applying heat, pass the iron over the stain. Just leave it for 2 or 3 seconds to whiten the garment. Finally, shake the garment to remove the talcum powder.
