Compared to gas stoves, electric stoves are much more convenient and affordable. Maybe that’s why they’re so popular. Electric stoves are a nightmare to clean, but I’m sure that’s obvious. When even a small amount of water boils over, a burnt stain will remain forever. Luckily, this simple method can make your glass stovetop look brand new again!
As Jillee from One Good Thing states, all you need to repair a stained glass stovetop, says Jillee, is a rag, baking soda, distilled vinegar, and liquid dish detergent. First, spray the stovetop liberally with vinegar using a spray bottle.

Soak the towel in a bucket or basin of hot water mixed with dish soap. Since you want the water to be quite hot, it’s wise to wear protective gloves.

After wringing it out a bit (not completely), lay the towel flat over the entire stove. Let the towel sit for at least fifteen to twenty minutes.

Remove the towel and use a soft brush to remove any remaining stains after the specified time has passed. Depending on the severity of the damage to your stove, you may need to repeat the process.
