Tips and Variations
You may easily modify this recipe to suit a variety of dietary restrictions and personal preferences. To make it saucier without adding calories, use low-fat cheeses and increase the quantity of marinara sauce for a lighter version. To give the sauce a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes for those who want a little spice. Be careful to use gluten-free chicken broth and marinara sauce to make this recipe gluten-free. Another way to change up the taste profile is to use a combination of herbs, such as parsley and oregano or thyme.
